Applied Behavioral Analysis for Individuals Up to Age 21

Wall Therapeutic Solutions offers focused and comprehensive ABA Programs.   These programs are designed to meet the unique needs of children and youth up to age 21 and their families, supporting everyone to overcome obstacles and create foundations for future success. All services are individualized and can be delivered at our ABA Centers in Salem and Christiansburg, or in the child’s home.

Our team is familiar with families’ struggles to find the best therapies and care for children with autism or other disabilities. Wall Therapeutic Solutions is dedicated to making services available for as many children and young adults as possible.

The experienced and certified staff at our Salem, VA and Christiansburg, VA ABA Centers are accepting referrals to help serve more children in the Roanoke and New River Valley areas. Many other centers have waitlists out as far as a year.

You can ensure your children receive the support they need right away by coordinating with one of our centers. If you are worried about traveling to the center each week, then our team can provide in-home ABA therapy anywhere near Salem, Roanoke, the New River Valley, and far Southwest Virginia.

Wall Therapeutic Solutions has immediate availability for daytime referrals for ABA services. This time of day is ideal for younger children who have not yet entered a school environment full-time. For kids attending school, there are short waitlists for after-school availability. This can give your family time to plan and open up their schedule for services while our team works to find a great fit for your child.

Most of our clients attend ABA sessions two to five times a week.

Wall Therapeutic Solutions believes that ABA services are most impactful in-person, but our team can provide telehealth on a case-by-case basis.

Many adults with autism say they had bad experiences with Applied Behavioral Analysis programs during their youth. Past teachings have been recounted as traumatic and stressful for participants.

Our hearts go out to those who did not receive therapies and care that helped them during childhood. When we set out to provide ABA services in 2021, our team ensured that we provided a progressive and compassionate therapy model. This new ABA style is a polar opposite of the strict regimens of the past.

Your child will get to focus on learning how to interact with their natural environment in a fun, healthy, and relaxed way. Our analysts and technicians help encourage play and enjoyable learning.

Do you offer Speech and Language Therapy?

Our centers in Salem and Christiansburg are capable of providing your child with speech and language pathology services including assessments and direct therapy. We can also provide these services through Therapeutic Consultation in an In-Home or Community-Based setting.

Before our centers opened, the closest location for Assistive Technology Assessments was in Charlottesville. You can save travel time by visiting our local speech and language pathologist for your child’s assessments.

Who Can Receive Intensive ABA?
  • Children and young adults age 0-21 with a diagnosis of autism or other developmental disability, and/or a recommendation from a medical professional.*
  • Wall Residences accepts most private insurance plans and MCOs.
    • Some patients use a combination of private insurance and Medicaid
    • If not covered by your insurance, ABA is available for out-of-pocket payment

How Do You Know if ABA is the Right Fit?

ABA therapy is often recommended to families by their child’s pediatrician. When a child receives an autism diagnosis, their doctor will inform them of services such as ABA to help with behavior and development.

Our modern ABA Centers in Salem, VA and Christiansburg, VA serve children and youth from 2-22. Families in the Roanoke, Salem and Montgomery County areas are able to easily access our center.

Facilities include multiple treatment rooms, a group therapy space, sensory room, and an observation suite with two-way window/mirror. Carefully designed to be both a soothing and welcoming environment for children and youth as they work with our highly skilled Behavior Analysts and Technicians to gain the skills that improve their lives.
